God morgonbröd

Snabbakat bröd med massor av nyttiga godsaker. Prova med jordgubbsylt på.

3 dl dinkelgryn

3 dl grahamsmjöl

3 dl vetemjöl

2 tsk salt

3 tsk bakpulver

5 dl lättfil

1 dl strimlade torkade aprikoser

½ dl russin

ev lite solrosfrön på toppen

 

Sätt ugnen på 200 grader. Blanda alla torra ingredienser och blanda i filmjölk och torkad frukt till en kladdig deg. Smörj en avlång form och grädda brödet mitt i ugnen ca 45 minuter tills en sticka är torr när du sticker i den tjockaste delen. Låt brödet svalna i formen innan du stjälper upp det.

 

Good Morning Bread

A healthy quick baked bread is just what you need for breakfast. Serve warm with butter and strawberry jam. If you still have some left after a couple of days it is delicious to toast.

Makes 1 loaf

 

Preheat your oven to 200°C/390°F. Grease a loaf pan with some butter. In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup rolled spelt, 1 cup wholemeal flour and 1 1/2 cup flour. Add 2 tsp salt, 3 tsp baking soda and stir until mixed. Add 2 cups butter milk, 1 egg, a handful of chopped dried apricots and 3 tbsp raisins. Mix well until a thick batter and place in the greased loaf pan. Sprinkle with some sunflower seeds and bake until set, appr 45-50 minutes. Let cool a little before serving.
